Fire and EMS Solicit Support
By Joint Fundraising Committee
Chalfont Chemical Fire Engine Co. & Chal-Brit Regional EMS
Chalfont, PA: The Chalfont Chemical Fire Engine Company #1 (CFC) and the Chal-Brit Regional Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (CBREMS) have teamed up once again to form a Joint Fundraising Committee to raise $1,000,000.00 through annual voluntary pledges from residents, customers and community stakeholders to relieve long-term mortgage debt on new facilities that allow these agencies to better serve our communities.
You may already be aware of the recently constructed building at 201 Park Avenue, opened in May 2008, which serves as the base of operations for CBREMS. The newly constructed facility at 301 North Main Street houses the CFC and their operations. This joint fundraising effort will allow these critical agencies to pay down mortgage debt, thereby reducing expenses to each agency.
The Joint Fundraising Committee asks residents, customers, stakeholders and any interested party to pledge an annual multi-year contribution that will be segregated and dedicated to paying down the mortgage debt on the two facilities, based on the relative ratios of debt for each agency. These funds are in addition to any annual subscription which goes toward operating expenses.
Donations may be made anonymous, although we are hoping to express our gratitude publicly at our upcoming CFC Dedication Ceremony. Any amount is welcome, any contribution is greatly appreciated.
Both CFC and CBREMS assure you that we are financially healthy and sound, and will continue to provide high quality emergency services to the greater community and regional area for years to come. The proceeds from this fundraising campaign will allow us to reduce our long-term debt, releasing operating funds for other purposes, and thereby allowing us to improve on our superior services.
